About

Bethany Dario, MPH, RDN, LD Special Interest: Eating Disorders, Intuitive Eating, Emotional Eating, Body Image, Sports Nutrition Owning and providing care to clients at Divergent Dietitian is one of the greatest gifts in her life. Her purpose in all of this work is to introduce a paradigm shift in the way we think about nutrition and invite individuals paralyzed by their relationship with food or their bodies to heal. To complement her work treating eating disorders she is the Director of Nutrition & Dietetics at Bluffton University and regards teaching as prevention of eating disorders. Bethany’s experience includes working as an inpatient dietitian at Remuda Ranch, groups and individual care to sororities, fraternities and students at The University of Texas at Austin, individual nutritional therapy and lead clinical dietitian at an Intensive Outpatient Program. Bethany also had the pleasure of working as faculty at Grand Canyon University where she developed the Nutritional Sciences degree and faculty at Bowling Green State University. Her work is supported by an amazing team at work and her partner, two children, two energetic german shepherds, and one feisty cat at home. She’s glad you’re here.
